Ellieleldriel sleeps lightly among the branches of the sprawling trees at her school. At the foot of Ellie’s bed—a four-posted giant growing straight out of the wood of the treetops of her dormitory, covered with sheets of the finest silk—in a round wicker basket with velvet cushions—a pet bed—there was a naked girl in it. The girl was about nine years old, with curly red hair and freckles on her cheeks, a little too big for her. The basket she was in was stuffed with a tight, slightly uncomfortable curl that was only partially relieved by the plush cushions beneath her.
Ellie opened her eyes, yawned, and stretched as the first rays of sunlight came in. Smiling in the warm sunlight, she slowly spread her legs. Along with this action, the originally quiet horn sounded into the girl’s mind and under the bed, waking her up. The girl rose from the basket in one quick movement, then in one single, swift, jumping movement, ducked under the covers, opened her mouth, and thrust her neck forward between Ellie’s legs, being careful not to touch either leg or get too close. Direct contact, especially intimate parts with elves, is unseemly and, therefore, forbidden for humans.
