2. Zealots, Devil’s Choice

After Ivo escaped from the palace, he arrived ahead of schedule at Serpentine Avenue in Els’ defense line. There was a famous prophet named Widis. Ivo and his men avoided the pursuers and went straight to the magic hut where the prophet was. He urgently needed someone to show him the way.
The cottage was as mysterious as he had imagined it to be. But the location was not as peaceful as he had expected, on the contrary, it was very lively for a small street where the surrounding area was very quiet. At the corner of the street there was a group of raggedly dressed men smoking and laughing, a grinder with a pedal wheel, two guards who were flirting with women, and several well-dressed young men with cigarettes in their mouths hanging around.
When Ivo walked into the magic cabin, it was like two worlds from the outside. It was like walking into a mysterious dreamland. There were all kinds of totems displayed around, the walls were covered with strange patterns, and inside was a higher level of steps. A woman in a black wizard robe was standing there with her back facing him. The light in the hall outlined the outline of her extremely graceful figure.
“Please sit down.” She didn’t look back: “Put the money on the table and we’ll start.”
Ivo didn’t speak, and put a bag of gems prepared in his hand on the table.
At the same time as he put it down, the opposite curtain opened, and a pair of watery eyes aimed at Ivo. The woman was smiling, neither her age nor her beauty, but her eyes were deep enough to make Ivo fall in. The woman smiled calmly, and her kind, sympathetic gaze, and even her soft and slightly hoarse voice were all hysterical temptations to Ivo.
“Welcome, I’m Mrs. Widis.”
Ivo sat down and smiled, without saying anything. The witch walked to the table, reached out to light the candle with the exquisite lamp holder, and continued her soft voice: “I can see into your past…”
Ivo stared closely at the witch’s hand. She seemed to be intentional. After lighting the candle, her slender fingers drew a circle in front of Ivo’s eyes. The trail of flames slowly dissipated in the air. At the same time, her face turned to Ivo with a smile again, looking mysterious and dreamy under the cover of magic smoke: “…you can still see your current situation clearly and reveal your future.”
The woman sat down slowly, turned her head and continued to look at Ivo: “If you want to ask any questions, please say it in your heart.”
Ivo unconsciously looked at the crystal ball in front of the witch, which was emitting a faint blue light. Ivo was a little cautious, he tried his best to concentrate, looked at the witch, and thought: I don’t know what it would be like to drink her urine into his mouth?
